I was nearly driven to tears...
No matter what I tried online, I never seemed to be able to make it work!

Sound familiar? If you're like most people, you're wondering why you're still not achieving the success that you know you deserve.
It's an all too familiar tune.
The hard truth is that probably 95% of online ventures never get off the ground, or achieve at best, minimal success.

But - we both know that there are people out there making some pretty obscene profits online, so what separates the 'haves' from the 'have-nots'?

To start with, there are several popular misconceptions about putting a business online. The first one is that, 'if you build it, they will come'.
They won't.
In fact, they won't even know that you're there, and if, by some lucky happenstance, they do manage to find you, odds are that you won't get a sale out of it unless all your i's are dotted and your t's are crossed. The problem being, of course, is that you only have one chance to capture a visitors attention. If you don't, if they're not interested, they won't be back., and once they're gone, they're gone for good.

The second most popular misconception is one that that has been perpetuated, at least in part, by the deluge of unscrupulous MLM/Network 'Opportunity' marketers that descended on the 'Net in the mid/late 90's,when they discovered the marketing potential of the internet.
No matter what you've heard to the contrary, running an online business is NOT, let me repeat that, is NOT a walk in the park.
As anyone who's successfully run, or is running an online business will tell you - there's work involved, and lots of it. Anyone who tells you otherwise is just plain out & out lying to you.
I particularly enjoy the stories where they tell you how you just put up their website (usually a ridiculously priced one at that) and they take care of the rest.
Sorry, but no matter how they try to rationalize that one, if it was that easy - they wouldn't need you, plain & simple. What have they got to gain out of this? Your hard earned $$$.

So we're back to the question from the top of the page - what separates those who are successful, from those that are not, and why is the failure rate so high?

The #1 reason that most people fail with start-up businesses, online and off, is that they're on their own. Plain and simple. They have no plan, haven't done any research, and they have no resources - nothing to fall back or rely on. Unless you've been successful starting businesses from scratch in the past, you need a push in the right direction, you need to know the steps it takes to make a business successful.

We both know that this can be overwhelming. It's not a simple process, no matter what you've heard, and starting an online business is no less challenging than starting a traditional brick 'n mortar business - and in my opinion, can actually be a harder process.

Now I am not, by any means, trying to scare you away from going online. The rewards can be so much more than with a traditional business. The internet age has brought advantages to the online marketer that would have been unthinkable 10 years ago. Never before have so many opportunities been available to you, opportunities that traditional businesses never had. You're no longer limited to only doing business in your local area, with the simple click of the mouse, potential clients from all over the globe can be on your 'doorstep', so to speak. In the past, when you were looking for vendors, you were limited to your local yellow pages, brokers that dealt in your particular merchandise and word of mouth. Now it's a simple matter of doing an online search.

The internet has created a new, global economy that has literally shrunk the size of our world. It's created an economy that instantly changes the buyers local currency into yours and automatically deposits it into your account, instead of having to wait weeks for payments through the mail or a bank wire transfer. It is quite literally a world of unlimited potential. A world that levels out the playing field somewhat between large businesses and the home based mom & pop operations.
For the first time in history, anyone really DOES have a shot at making it big.

So where do you start? There's a zillion so called 'business opportunities' out there. How do you tell the difference between one that really offers you the potential of being in charge of yourself and those that are out there to suck you dry?
What if you have your own ideas for a business the you want to start, what's the next step, how do you get your target audience to your web site, and once they're there, what do you do with them?

I've simplified things for you.
I've put together a list of the best of the best online opportunities. Now that's not say that there aren't other legitimate, profitable biz-ops out there, or ones that will come up in the future.
